Belle and her boyfriend Sebastien meet up with a strange man named Hervé in the metro station. They are both on their way to an anonymous meeting with a network of thieves. Hervé is really a former intelligence agent named Fabrice, who wants to meet Belle because he has the proof that some of his former colleagues are responsible for the death of his family. He wants to avenge them through Belle. Hervé is convinced that it was the work of the three men he met with at the railway station and who gave him the information about them. After this introduction, things go smoothly for a while: Sebastien and Fabrice join the gang, and they all plan an attack on the famous Swiss bank, Union Bancaire Privée, and rob it. During the planning of the heist, though, Sebastien is suspected of being a police informer. Fabrice then decides to kill him, and he brings Belle along to the scene of the murder.
The film was released in the UK in October 2013. The ratings boards R18 and NC-17 were originally applied to the film, but the NC-17 was later removed due to the filmmakers' appeal. The film premiered on October 29, 2013 at the Un Certain Regard section of the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.
